Tina Merriman

Tina Merriman joins us from Sebastian, Florida, and obtained her Pharm.D. at Palm Beach Atlantic University. She is one of our college’s new PGY1 Community-based Pharmacy residents at the Lake Nona campus under the guidance of Dr. Stacey Curtis.

Brandon Thompson

Brandon Thompson grew up in Freeport, Maine, and received his Pharm.D. from Trinity University in Texas. He completed a PGY1 residency at the University of New England in Maine. He joins our college as a PGY1 Medication Therapy Management resident, working with Dr. Teresa Roane in the Center for Quality Medication Management.

Nicole Warda

Nicole Warda joins us from Glenview, Illinois, and received her Pharm.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She continues her academic journey with the UF College of Pharmacy as a PGY1 Community-based Pharmacy resident at the Gainesville campus, working with Dr. Stacey Curtis.

Samantha Winters

Samantha Winters is originally from Chicago but has lived in Orlando for most of her life, earning her Pharm.D. from the University of Florida. She is one of our college’s new PGY1 Community-based Pharmacy residents at the Lake Nona campus under the guidance of Dr. Stacey Curtis.

Katherine Zheveleva was raised in Miami, FL, and completed her Pharm.D. education at the University of Florida. She has joined our college as a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident working with Dr. Katie Vogel Anderson

PGY2 Resident

Hana Al-Alshaykh

Hana Al-Alshaykh was raised in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and received her Pharm.D. from the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Riyadh. Hana is currently a PGY2 clinical pharmacogenomics resident working with Dr. Kristin Wiisanen.

Lauren Lemke

Lauren Lemke is originally from Wrightstown, Wisconsin, and earned her Pharm.D. from the University of Minnesota. She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, Minnesota. Lauren is currently a PGY2 clinical pharmacogenomics resident working with Dr. Kristin Wiisanen

Madison Poteet

Madison Poteet grew up in LaGrange, Kentucky, and received her Pharm.D. from the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Sullivan University. She completed a PGY1 residency at Sullivan University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and St. Matthews Community Pharmacy. She is one of two PGY2 Ambulatory Care residents, working with Dr. Eric Dietrich and Dr. Christina DeRemer.

Rafael Sanchez

Rafael Sanchez hails from Lake Worth, Florida, and completed his Pharm.D. at the University of Florida. He is one of two PGY2 Ambulatory Care residents, working with Dr. Eric Dietrich and Dr. Christina DeRemer. He completed a PGY1 residency at Aza Health.

Meg Awunti

Meg Awunti is from Charlotte, North Carolina. She completed her Pharm.D. at Wingate University School of Pharmacy in Wingate, North Carolina. She has joined the department as the inaugural Fellow in Health Equity, working with Dr. John Allen at the Lake Nona campus.

Christie Monahan was raised in Charleston, SC, earning her Pharm.D. from East Tennessee State University. She has joined our college as a Family Medicine Fellow working with Drs. John Gums, Steve Smith, and Jason Powell. She completed a PGY1 residency at Marshall Health in Huntington, West Virginia.
