About Eda Eken

Dr. Eda Eken, Pharm.D. is a Clinical Pharmaogenomics Fellow at University of Florida, College of Pharmacy. She is also a pharmacogenetics-specialized pharmacist for the UF Health Precision Medicine Program and for MyRx, UF Health’s pharmacogenetics consult service. Dr. Eken received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree and B.S in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Florida. Her research interests include clinical implementation of pharmacogenomics (PGx), impact of liver donor vs recipient on PGx-guided tacrolimus dosing, and role of CYP2C19 genotype on proton pump inhibitors for gastroesophageal reflux disease treatment.
