Learning Objectives:

  1. Review the basic properties of CYP2C8:  expression, substrates, inhibitors, and inducers.

  2. Describe the effect of CYP2C8 polymorphisms on the disposition of some oral hypoglycemic drugs.

  3. Review common CYP2C8-mediated drug-drug interactions with oral hypoglycemic.

Target Audience: Pharmacists

Requirements to attain CE Credit are to attend the entire program and complete an evaluation form.
